Vivec is a cool town and all, and there is plenty cool things to see, but navigating it is not fun. At least there are plenty of stairs to spam jump on to increase acrobatics. Planning on a second run through just so I can do thief guild missions.
Should I bother with Oblivion? I've played a...
Started doing a real playthrough of Morrowind due to this, not sure if I'm gonna pick up Skyrim on launch now. Just immersing myself in the shit city that is Vivec, and continuing on with Fighters Guild/Morag Tong (?) quests. So much fun.
That's what Giantbomb is- casual dress and attitude but great reviews, videos, and insights on games. My favorite game reviewing website for that reason.
That's where they head after the farm, in the comic books at least. The plot has strayed pretty far so I'm not actually sure if they'll go there or not.
[br]Water, the highly anticipated mermaid mod from the team behind Human Error, now has a bundle of new screenshots and a release date. Set for release on Nov. 14, Water is a HL2 mod in which you play as a mermaid and supposedly do mermaid things, such as solving puzzles, helping fish-men and...
The amount of gore in that scene with the well is just so weird. Find it hilarious that it's ok to show that on television but absolutely no nudity of any kind.
It was a standard Walking Dead episode, bunch of characters I don't care about talking about shit I don't care about.
It's nice to say that no score system is the best, but you don't get readers that way. My personal favorite is the Giant Bomb 5 stars scoring system. Honestly, whats the difference between a game that got a 8.7 and one that got a 8.8?
Bleak Night- Absolutely loved it. A very different Korean movie compared to what I usually watch, gonna hunt out more like it. Probably my #1 for this year. 9/10
Yellow Sea- Solid action flick, but I feel about 20 or so minutes could have been cut out without any significant problems. I liked...
Could not care less about WoW but here's to hoping HoTS is ~$40, puts in Reavers in the place of Colossus, and adds Lurkers. I'm sure D3 will be great.
Just picked up the Melted Toys Washed and Dried EP which is pretty good. I'm gonna give it a couple more listens but I'm digging it, kind of a dreamy indie type of thing.
Otherwise I've been listening to Mezzanine a whole bunch too, but you should all know that's a pretty solid album.
[br]In celebration of it's 1 year Anniversary, the Mann Co Store is unveiling a number of new features and items. [br]A new feature called Steam Workshop is being unrolled, which is an "improved item submission system that allows community item-creators to test, share and track the status of...
A mere month after it's first unveiling in Beta, Steam Trading has now been made official. Along with this news, Portal 2 and Spiral Knights items have been added to the Steam trading economy.
Over the 4 weeks of trading over 1 million items and game gfits have been traded. An explanation of...
It's been known for years that LandoverBaptist is a troll forum, pretty successful one at that. What's scary is that it's easy to believe that people actually believe and think these things.
[br]Available now are 8 (eight!) Deus-Ex themed Team Fortress 2 weapons for those who pre-order Deus Ex: Human Revolution on Steam, as if you needed any more reasons. A full list of all available weapons can be found here, which includes a number of futuristic guns, hats, and ROBOT FISTS for...
Captain America- 2/10
What an absolute terrible movie. I'm not a fan of Marvel (or any superhero movie that isn't Batman) but christ I didn't know it would be this bad. The blonde version of Ryan Reynolds plays the Captain, and Hugo Weaving slums it as a terrible looking alien thing. I agree...
