I bought a used bike once. Never again!
The Wii-U has got one good thing going for it. If you say the name repeatedly you start to sound like a European police siren.
It's the Peter Parker situation. You have Doomguy and Duke Nukem who were born and raised to be physically imposing beefcakes. While Gordon Freeman is the nerdy everyman who had power thrust upon him when a radioactive spider crawled inside his HEV suit.
There was talk of them using the inbuilt steam beta system for incremental updates. I don't think it has happened yet, though I believe the ALPHA has updated once or twice since launch.
I'm all for tabletop games going online. While I don't care much about this specific example, if it proved successful and kick started a trend I would be fine with it.
I'm sure you're right. It just seems crazy to me sometimes that so much work goes into something that (from the perspective of the company) only needs to see them through the next twelve months. Where as a tiny fraction of the people can create something far smaller that can receive praise and...
I was thinking the same thing at the weekend Glenn. People are still referring to DOTA2 as unreleased, yet its the most active game on Steam, has holiday specific event updates, and a paid item store.

I agree, that would be awesome. I'd love to run through the Developer Commentary also.
Sadly I expect this will be exclusive to encourage sales of the Wii-U version to people who already own one of the other releases. The only hope would be if they went the DLC route after some significant...
It's also possible that Valve are moving away from in-house game design entirely, and that Source 2 has been cancelled for weeks. Choosing instead to become the wise sage of the industry, contributing only ideas and theory while getting fat off Steam cash and fan worship.
I don't believe that...
I imagine it will differ from game-to-game, the software side of things will likely be as customizable as any other controller. Personally I wouldn't have much interest in using the motion tracking component with something fast and frantic like Quake or TF2.
However I think it would be great in...
My brother went to buy Thief on release day. He came home with a weird orange box that looked like it contained spreadsheet software. Never looked back.
Game outlets have to be ready for when people start wanting to pre-order popular products. Its fairly predictable that there will always be a new COD coming out in the fall. So they just give a generic title with an expected price to cover any customers wanting to put down money super early...
