I think it might marking the turning point, although Hannah could have an effect that changes his philosophy. If not, he could use Deb as a means to rationalize eliminating LaGuerta and Matthews, or "saving the people he cares about." It could be a necessary game-changer, both to avoid...
Just got done watching the most recent episode. Looks like the last two are going to be extremely intense.
Dexter's revelation was chilling, but it was also hilarious because he had to confront his own hypocrisy.
"You have to start taking responsibility"
(thinks): "Oh, shi--!"
I'm a poor college student as well, but it's also because I don't see anything else of interest coming out in the remainder of the year besides Dragonborn and Far Cry 3.
Yeah, Hope, South Dakota was an annoying location, though they added some variety to it, I didn't like the general aesthetic.
Honestly, I think the developers made more work for themselves than necessary. I didn't purchase Absolution for the cinematic story, I wanted levels that encourage...
I'll admit that attaining Silent Assassin in the Chinatown level was very satisfying. But, there was far too much fleeing in the game, rather than target elimination. The disguise system is more than a bit screwed up, as well, and if the developers would have tweaked the disguise system/instinct...
Yeah, I was surprised at the quality of Jennifer Carpenter's acting, given the subject matter. Yvonne Strahovski comes across as a bit shy, though, and I don't think that is part of her character. I'm not sure why I think that. Regardless, she comes across as more inhibited than Lila, which is...
The writing really bespeaks significant talent, in that after the end of Ep. 4, I still wanted to pursue the finale.
The theme of the Walking Dead was expertly applied during the ending. Pre-disaster identity does not necessarily matter. Lee, despite his dark past, became something else...
There was one part towards the end I found illogical, but overall this game tells a superb story. Sure, there is the illusion of choice, but this functions to dovetail the narrative into a more pleasing package. And what a pleasing package TWD is. Rarely has a game's ending been so emotionally...
Yeah, since the disappointment of Hitman: Absolution (well, there were some cool parts), I've been looking more and more forward to Far Cry 3. I'd be more than happy to trade Hope, South Dakota for Rook Island. And, lo and behold! Conquering outposts actually serves the benefit of reducing enemy...
I am very pleased with this season so far. I figured they would spirit Harrison away for a bit, though, which is a good thing.
Anyway, the intensity is building on multiple fronts. I can't wait for the next episode, and I haven't said that in two seasons. I would agree, this could be...
Not to get off topic, but I think he was on the show Doll house (sci-fi type show). I was pleased with his performance, and it is indeed a shame he didn't have a more fleshed out role in Dexter.
You know, I half-expected to see Deb go onto Dexter's computer and encounter Viktor's mugshot plainly on the screen. I breathed a sigh of relief when that didn't happen.
Also, all the flashbacks gave this a Season 1 vibe, which I am definitely happy with. I can't remember everything from that...
The ending was awesome. About to go to bed soon, so can't type out a long message, but simply wow. That complete exposure towards the end was...unexpected.
I'd be fine with that, if it was as captivating as Dexter...started out.
Anyway, is the premiere also going to be playing on the showtime website as well? I'll have a look, but is there a legal website where I could buy a subscription for the whole season, and see them on the night they are...
The second book touched on that theme a little bit, Debra knowing about Dexter I mean, but in the book it started off as a bit more subtle than in the show, not sure how it developed from there as I stopped reading after book two.
Aside from that, I think the departure of Clyde Phillips hurt...
I'm looking forward to it, I've watched this show from Season 1 on and this is supposedly the first of the final two seasons. Not to mention, events from season 2 are going to play a role in the story. Don't want to be spoiler-ish, but the inclusion of those plot elements made me giddy...
Actually, I'm much more looking forward to Sleeping Dogs than Far Cry 3, but I could be favorably comparing the former with quite a few games this year.
