"She has an outrageous ass" made me laugh.
Good to see a particular figment of Dexter's imagination is back, and the preview of the next episode was very interesting. I wasn't expecting that particular problem to re-surface, but bravo for Dexter's writing team.
I hope someone makes a "what did you do in skyrim today?" thread, similar to the oblivion thread made when that game was released. Honestly, reading accounts of the game experiences was more entertaining than Oblivion itself. OB was an okay game, but I'm hoping Skyrim has enough possibility...
While I don't care for IGN, that site gave it a ten out of ten, if I remember correctly.
Eh, I don't know I couldn't help but feel Uncharted 3 was a "tighter" experience. I'm too lazy to round up reviews, but it seems it has attained universal acclaim like its predecessor, not sure what the...
I've read some reviews that claim it's superior, actually. I've finished playing it, and while my memories of Uncharted 2 are somewhat vague, Uncharted 3's setpieces seem even more fantastic. I don't know, I'd say in most ways they are equal but with the third title having a decent edge...
I'm just not sure how realistic others would consider that storyline possibility to be, as in "would the writers really use that ploy? It's possible, though.
^^The above would be interesting as I remember a fellow fan telling me that an interview with one of the producers claimed that the writing team was shooting for a parallel between Dexter and the season's antagonist. The comparison in this sense has already been stated.
^^Those are possibilities. Although her delivery seemed to lack the necessary inflection/expression. Eh, whatever, it's a minor detail.
I do find it interesting that they've managed to bring up the ICK at least three times so far (by how I'm remembering it). Perhaps the writers just have a...
I cant't recall all the occurances of season 5, but season 4 is when she found out and expressed those observations to Dexter. Also, the ICK's name is Brian Moser, not Rudy, the latter was simply an alias he employed that he stole off of one of his victims (a plumber he killed), I believe.
I'm pretty sure Brian Moser was his real name, but I'll double-check, and that Deb found out about it at the end of Season 4.
EDIT: Yep, Deb confirmed the Ice Truck Killer was Dexter's bro (using the name Brian Moser) at 36:10 of this video

It is telling of Deb's character that in the recap alone she dropped the f-bomb, what, three times? Anyway, point being is that if the writers toned down her vulgarity her character would be much more tolerable, but inconsistent of course. But yeah, LaGuerta is even less tolerable considering...
Watched it a little bit ago. Yep, the ending was surely an attention grabber. Wondering if Deb's decision will end up biting her in the ass.
Also, I enjoyed the icy blast from the past, so to speak.
Shit, I forgot about this yesterday. Unfortunately, I don't have cable or showtime, so I must go hunting on the net for it. I'm going to watch this later today.
I definitely saw the Arkham Asylum vibe, although it did seem to have more vibrancy towards the end sections. I hope the atmosphere is more varied, though.
I can't comment on the whole season yet, obviously, but this season has drawn me in more than the past three have. Not that that ultimately means anything, but I'm cautiously optimistic. The preview for episode three promises to keep things similarly interesting.
