I've seen quotes describing the trouble they had scaling the game down from the e3 demo that was running on some mental PC tech (mental as in no one realistically could run the game in that state on a home PC) and being unable to fit it on the next gen consoles. The games gone through some...
This game looks nowhere near as good as it did in early trailers. Fearing a Aliens Colonial Marines switcharoo here from looking at the comparisons on NeoGaf.
****ing loved Infinite and currently loving Burial At Sea. Real shame about Irrational and the people losing their jobs. Seems a lot of AAA studios are going the same way.
Broken Age I have spoilered these screens because even though I don't think there is anything here you can't see in the trailers it's better to be safe.
Backed it from day one and wasn't dissapointed. A really gorgeous game that while a tad too easy more than makes up for it in the story and dialogue. Can't wait for Act 2.
Best: State Of Decay, Bioshock Infinite, Assassins Creed IV, Arkham Origins, Outlast, Dead Space 3.
Worst: Aliens Colonial Marines (the is no excuse for this game), Flashback remake (sucked the soul from the original game).
State Of Decay PC (Inc. Breakdown DLC)- 9/10
This is a contender for my GoTY and it's only a cheap indie title. Sure it's janky with some funny little glitches and sometimes it does devolve into a cycle of fetch quests but the immersion level is something I've not found in any of the other...
Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea Part 1
These pics don't really contain serious spoilers but I've spoilered them in case people want to play it without knowing anything about the story.
Maybe he does but a 3.5? Really? There is nothing about this game that deserves that score and anybody who knows Jim knows he does this with regularity. He was already massively negative about this game before he even got his hands on it. Look at the comments on the RPS "wot I think" on the game...
Jim Sterling reviews are nothing but click bate most of the time, seems to have gone to town on this game because the review copy was late and it inconvenienced his whole weekend. Amazing how he says the entire story is a delivery system for paid DLC yet gives CoD games a universal 9 every year...
