Even though i think its outdated, i have no complaints about the source engine....its still making good games which i still play all the time. I do think that for ep3 they will at least update it significantly, but i wouldn't be suprised if they keep the same source engine for a few more years.

No matter how much i hate the wait i've been a fan of the HL series since i played HL in 98. I'll be happy with whatever they put out when it actually does come out. And i've read that episode 3 isnt the end of gordan freeman, so that does indicate that it will be an episode and not just HL3.

Dont know if its relevent or not but in one of the first hidden rooms you find, the calender with the hot girl says the year is 1988. I dont know for sure but i was under the impression that HL1 was set in the time period it came out in 1998. So its clear that the facility has been evacuated for...

Doug Lombardi said in an interview a year or two ago the episode 3 will not be the last time you play as gordan freeman. Whether or not thats changed since then is yet to be announced.

Its so sad because i love duke nukem and the half life series and the fans are just so neglected. But at least there have been bits of info about duke even though its never going to release...ep3 has received none. I just at least want to know if its still being made.
