Don't underestimate it's importance. It's often argued that Watergate represented a basic shift in how the American public viewed the presidency. I'm sure there's other views, but I would never be dismissive of it's place in history.
JCVD: Excellent/Nerdy
Was as good as I expected it to be, but it does ask a lot from it's audience. Being at least passingly familiar with Van Damme's career is a must, but the film is also very French with it's old school noir style and willingness to play with conventions, so action-geeks...
I was fairly surprised that the first episode didn't stretch out that serial killer concept for the entire season, like I totally expected it to. They just got it over with for the premiere and established another dynamic right away.
Not a terribly original concept, but I've seen every episode so far and genuinely enjoy it. I am, however, not at all an objective source when it comes to things that Nathan Fillion is in. Definitely my man-crush.
It's even more relevant to have Jackson mentioned in this case than it often is for other producers. Jackson has very clearly been championing Blokamp as the next big science fiction director, with one of the reasons that a Halo movie is no longer happening is that when the studio said no to...
For those unfamiliar with Blokamps work:

My point being, this is not a monster movie or a normal science fiction action...
I never read P.D. Jame's book (and don't intend to, most accounts place it as inferior to the film), but I did read through V for Vendetta before the film. It is not an identical adaptation, but it was clearly trying to make a political point based around Thatcher-ism by taking it to an extreme.
I've taken a shine to this show...reliably entertaining and interesting. Not a step forward for the genre or anything, but something that's perfect for watching on a Tuesday.
Yeah, which is why it's exciting. I'm just saying that it's interesting to see the license getting passed to new hands again, and that it's not going to be Fallout 3: Electric Boogaloo.
It's new people and old people, at a new company, and I'm guessing a different style of gameplay than the older Fallout titles. It's not going to be a direct sequel according to what we've heard so far, and it isn't a retread of an earlier title, so it sounds like something new and different to me.
I like the idea of the Fallout license getting multiple interpretations from different developers. It's a world with more than enough fiction to support multiple visions.
Hells bells, a lot of people seem to be placing judgments on the game for things that aren't in that video, or anything we know about the game. We're just assuming games suck until proven otherwise now?
Yeah, Reign Over Me is about the only way I'd want to see Shadow in a Film.
That said, I'll eat my hat if this actually gets made. Notice how every movie that writer has attempted has either been a failure, or has simply never materialized? He probably just works for peanuts and someone at...
Also, it's a US show, and it's still the 8th here, and the show comes on in 25 minutes. They probably don't stick it online till it's at least shown the first time.
Hah, that's a bit harsh. The man's not a literary genius, but I saw his books get more than a few people back into reading. He hit the nail right on the head at the time for books that had good actions scenes, competent characters, and enough information in them that you felt like you were...
Assassin's Creed was one of the most polished and well realized game's I've ever seen, but it didn't live up to the gameplay's potential. It's cities were astounding, and it's combat was definitely something I hadn't seen before, but it desperately needed something other than that the four or...
