I lost a LOT of progress with the restore. If their backup system was working, they should have only had to rewind it a 2-3 hours from when the griefing was first noticed. I'm a little hesitant to start building again until the whitelist is working.... last thing I want to do is build the same...

Thank you for taking responsibility. I think a failure to properly mark a "nature preserve" is the real issue. There's an area I marked off for a pirate cove earlier.... surrounded it with glass.... because I realized unless I made it obvious, someone would mine the hell out of it.

Looks like they restored the ORIGIONAL backup we send them, meaning any progress since the new server is not showing (my tunnel, glass ceiling, carved out ocean, artificial island, etc... ). I'm going to wait for Raziaar to give the green-light before building, but if they don't have a more...

Enough with this silliness, we have had an actual griefer on our server. Is our whitelist working? Who is this "__Dickie__" guy? How much did he #$% up? Do we need to have minimum post counts & forum join dates? ~12:48am EST 10/28/2010

Seems like an honorable man, interested in his customers having the best experience. This is a lot better than a lot of companies treat customer service. We can always switch if it sucks, but I have a feeling that this is the best long-term option.

Seems logging in is now working... However, I'm getting "connection refused." Been playing single player over the last few days and experimenting with minecarts.

I can't connect. It sits at "Logging in..." for a minute, and then it says "Connection Lost. End of Stream" Don't get a headache over this, just email the admins and pass on the problem. Thanks!
