Max Payne 2 had soft shadows too, you saw them when you did a shootdodge, the further Max was from the ground, the "softer" the shadows were.

Ya, I think I know which sound you mean. Bit weird for a robot to make those sounds but it's cool. I love the sounds of the Alien Gunship when he is hurt and tracking you down as you can hear in the Coastline-movie, sounds so good, really makes you feel that it's a living creature.

I use ABC too. Is Azareus that much better?

My bet is you will have an area with a TV, projecting something and later on it the same level you'll walk in a room and see the camera standing there, filming what you just saw on a television. I think it would be too bad if they didn't show this effect at leats once.

You should've waited for the binks or waited for the "damn" game in the first place. You've seen the screens, if you think it's not better then the Gamespy-one then you should have left it for what it is.

Pixels are less in the DVD-version, but the difference is almost not noticable unless you're really looking for it. Guess that's just DivX, I don't think highering the kbps would make any difference.

The motion doesn't look much/any better on DVD then in the DivX-version, honestly.

There's no news in it. German sounds a lot like dutch actually so I understand the most things of it. It's just a summary of the Half-Life 2 engine, "lifelike face expressions, interactivity with the environment", all sorts of that stuff, not really worth the trouble.
