All of these problems would have been solved if they had never specified a date. If Valve would have just put "Pre-order Orange Box and gain access to TF2 Beta when we release it!" Then all of this would have been solved.
Well anyone here expecting the "beta" to be perfect should be slapped...
EDIT: I don't think that Valve would announce a release if the game was in that bad of condition...
Hey Asus and others, do you think that if I upgrade my 939 pin mobo I can make the lifespan to around a year?
Basically what Im asking is do you think that 939 will be able to compete in a year or so or do you think I should safe up for a Am2 and ddr2 ram just for future proofing?

Im not sure how the pvp is in WoW but anyones who has played DAoC on a pvp server or even in frontiers knows that PvP is DAoC is awesome. The best part about it: you need skill. Best experience in a game has got to be DAoCs PvP, rampaging the cities and killing high leveled player and other 8...
Yes I have PCI-E but I wouldnt want to upgrade my graphics card right now with directx10 right around the corner unless it was a 8800GT/X but thats too much for me. The only reason for this sudden upgrade is because I wanted to install Vista and that requires 2gb of ram for gaming so Im not sure...

I used to play Dark Age of Camelot back in the day and I loved it. I probably had the most fun on that game and have lots of memories. Ever so often I really get the need to play it again and I was thinking about getting DAoC Anniversary Edition and playing for a couple of months to get it out...
