Who really cares? Is it really that important who's right? Both obviously contributed (as Gabe himself has said) but why does it matter which contributed more? Some people may have read different things to others and interpreted things differently. I don't really see why there's an arguement...
until....."hl2.exe has formed an illegal operation and will be shut down".
I know that's going to happen.....and i'll be made to wait an agonising 3 minutes for my computer to restart.
lol yeah i was confused for a sec...
Why do people like iambetter feel the need to spoil it for others......just for the tiny sick satisfaction they get from pissing people off. Good riddance.
Well we can dream. Nobody likes a pessimist (even if they're probably right). I have a feeling it will be no later than August...but that's just a hope.
Only saying "yes" as i'll be reading it (whilst trying to contain my excitement) on my way home from buying it! But when I get home to my PC....hell no!! I'm playing the damn thing.
Never heard that before but whatever (strange how it's not marked on calendars whereas spring is....but who cares). STILL.....Valve probably count September as summer even if I don't! I'm still being optimistic and saying July (which is summer as that's when school breaks up:))!!
Summer = June, July, August.
May is in spring....and September is in autumn.
I think the "official start date" of seasons only really applies to spring (march 21st)....but who knows what crazy calendar Valve have in their office. I'm going to take a hopeful guess and say some time in july.
I'm pretty sure it will have unlimited ammo.....I mean there was no ammo indicator in the E3 demos....
I wonder how far though the game you get to use it....
Male, 17.
Played HL1 so I'd like to see a worthy follow up, that lives up to the original game....or better still, exceeds the standard the original set.
I want to get immersed in a sophisticated plot.
Realistic graphics, physics, AI.
I want new, original, imaginative gameplay ideas that...
Oh....so it's on their "well we tried it out but it didn't really add anything to the gameplay" list. Ah well.....i'm sure they've ommited it for a reason.......right?
A bad guy. I think. Yes....he's bad. I think he might have high power within the combine.....just a hunch with all the giant tv screens showing his mug around every corner....churning out all the brainwashing mumbo jumbo. "It's safer here"...ah the irony...ahem.
Hmm....apparently it's the "official" release date....announced by Activision, which goes beyond the totally false retailer release dates. I am therefore very excited. But then I remember September 30th....
I think they are the same place. I actually prefer the e3 2003 layout, as it seemed much more realistic but anyway. In the PC Zone playtest, it mentions that they got to play the part where you crash through the window in that map. So perhaps they've kept some of the old features, but changed...
Yep...very losely. "The Mist" is a short story by Stephen King. From the blurbs i've read, it is about a mist that engulfs a town, apparently caused by a top secret government research project (the Arrowhead Project) and creatures such as tentacles arrive with it.
I know! As I said, it assumes certain things, that we now know aren't true. But when it was written, I don't think there was anything to say that the gman wasn't the admin. It's one person's take on the storyline, and isn't official or completely accurate, but seems to give a good account of the...
