Go them?
A 7 used to be pretty good and a six I'd still look at, but these days, a six means the game is shite and a 7 means you should only get it if you're really bored and trapped down a well.
Sounds like you're just joining a server with a good connection but it's buckling under the stress because it's probably overloaded running ten gaming servers on one physical server.
GSPs seem to be underestimating the load and replacing one 12 man TF2 server with 3 L4D servers and not...
Oh god no, I've not read a single review in the last ten years that has given me an accurate portrayal of a game, they either review from a couple of hours play test, a demo or if you're a really super cool website/print magazine, you review from not playing the game and just reading articles...
If you look at their written review, it says this, which is even better,
Bad Points:
Campaign is less fun when played alone
Only four campaigns
The reviewer actually gives a counter-argument for the second point in the review and says it has so much re-playability it isn't a problem, ok, so...
Stick to advanced if you're dying and for the love of god, play with some friends, the AI is awful in comparison to a few good friends to play with ;)
Have you tried verses mode yet?
I don't think it is, I've not got it, it sounds like one of those kill a developer/whoever, you get the award, if someone kills you, they take it from you (but you keep it).
Woah, what a buzz!
Still havn't completed it though... :P
Myself and a fairly good group had five attempts at it in expert difficulty and it was amazingly fun every single time, even though we died, everyone choked the first time we played it and the chopper pilot said 15 minutes.. :P
This...
In what way? More routes? Better map design?
I'm pretty happy with what I've seen so far, I think this sort of game lends itself well to maps that are both linear in design but with lots of little short cuts (ie: lots of routes for infected to burst out of :D)
And as for my thoughts...
Looking good so far, then :)
How long has the default time settings for the news been set to US times? I'm convinced the reasons why I liked this place originally was because of it's predominantly UK user base :x
I seem to remember something like this, looking at what people have already unearthed and from the saferoom walls, it looks like you'll learn a lot from the conversations other survivors have had, which is just about the most coolest thing ever.
