furiousV, I wouldn't really bother with any new games on Linux with an ATI card, the performance is usually absolutely terrible (opposite for nvidia, which provide excellent linux drivers).
I am also pretty sure that 3D acceleration drivers aren't included in FC, so goto www.ati.com and...
Should be able to choose between Domino's and Pizza Hut, and in all honesty, it minimizes EQ2 and opens a whole browser etc.. I would prefer if they integrated something into the game so you can buy while killing deer/snakes whatever. :P
Did you read up what I wrote about semi-automatics.
A lot of american cars (muscle) have the same mechanics.
Funnily enough I think the sound was taken from a muscle car, can't remember what one exactly though :)
I think the cars are based around real ones, such as the FXO (an FTO lookalike) etc... sort of like GTA. :)
It is really realistic, but even if you don't have a steering wheel, still check it out, it can be very fun with the mouse :)
Yeah basically, you get semi automatic, which you can change from the way you accelerate, such as max out then lift up and tap down again.
In all honesty though does it matter?
Heh indeed, and the fact is people are making such a big thing of this. For this one bug there have been a hundred bugs for IE, this I know is slightly off-topic but people shouldn't go overboard when there is one major exploit found in alternate IE browsers.
Firefox users can fix it anyway,
Goto C:/Documents and Settings/user/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/blah/compreg.dat
Edit out anything referring to IDN, I found 2 entries on my Win2000 machine. This has fixed the problem for me and many others.
Hmm it is pretty early days yet, I'd wait a while before you see lots of things for singleplayer.
Actually though, this is a pretty damn good mod :)

It isn't really retarded. It is pretty fool proof actually, well almost anyway.
You basically read the box, and it tells you, that either a credit card or a gamecard is required even for the free 30 days or whatever it is.
Then, using your power of thought, you work out that if you don't...
What on earth are you talking about?
The level was removed because it didn't fit in with the storyline, and the hacker had nothing to do with the delay.
Well I have found it is not so hard to install the drivers as much getting good performance out of them. Wine is fine, but WineX is much better featuring DirectX support among many other things.
If you are new to Linux and want to dive straight in I recommend you try a distribution called...
The map you are speaking of in the stolen build, the one with the moving ground, actually didn't have moving ground.
I don't know how halflife2.net staff feel about the posting of such maps, but I think Valve would not condone it seeing as it was basically stolen from them.
