Well, I like to argue. So odds are I probably will if he challenges my point. Anyway, this is Bioware, they don't schluff on the dialog and story. Text is but one way to send a message.
There are other ways do get information across other than text. The text available conveys where you want the conversation to go--generally. It's not dumbing it down, it's removing (for some) a tedious activity. It by no means, in concept, that it will negatively effect convos with NPCs. It...
You know, I keep hearing people refer to PT 2 as "Morte's Revenge." Was that a title for the cancelled sequel, or is it just contagious humor?
Anyway, there is one series I wished they would resurrect. Lands of Lore, if only to satisfy childhood nostalgia. It seems I'm the only one that...
You know, I just checked out "The Witcher." It looks mighty impressive. I'm surprised I haven't seen more about this. The whole "butterfly effect" to the story is an awesome concept. This is now on my most wanted list, among many others, of course.
At the top of the list is, HL2: Black Box.
I'm not sure if your referring to my statement, or the one made in the link. But, all I will say is that if people can't accept, or at least consider, new scientific advances that debunk old beliefs, they are a little too caught up in current science.
If you are referring to my statement...
You could be right. I haven't read over the full article, just the parts that interested me. Here is something that caught my eye though.
So, there's some info to chew on. It's interesting to note that their research isn't isolated and other researchers have mirrored their own results...
Sometimes new research dispels earlier notions. The article (if read) will reveal that research on this particular subject was done quite awhile ago. They are merely continuing it. And btw, many other sources have discovered that the heart has 40,000 neurons. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if...
Interested. Although I am planning to wait for reviews. But, my impulsiveness will probably get the better of me and I'll snatch it up. I still think this has the potential to be a good game, but I'm more anxious to my Metro 2033.
I just hope I don't have to wait another 6 years fer it...
That's a little over the top, wouldn't you say. I loved the intro, but not ALL of it was brilliant. The last chapter especially needed to be re-designed, IMO.
The Citadel explosion at the end was great, though.
Heh, If they do decide to kill him off I hope LaidLaw somehow makes a reference to the Ernest Hemingway quote "You will die like a dog for no good reason."
I started this fanfic awhile ago. I decided to post it, if it's liked well enough (if at all) I might continue it. Critiques and comments would be welcome.
Planescape: The Rise of Evil
"What can change the nature of a man?," those words seemed stamped onto his mind, stitched with gold...
I think there should be painstaking efforts to correct the mental illness in a person. If, however, that fails, they should have the rights to die like everyone else. If, hyopthetically speaking, their suffering is unstoppable, they should have the same rights as other patients.
What is...
I get his point, and it's a valid one to be sure. I just got wrapped up in explaining the definition of atheism and adhering to the concreteness(sp?) of it. I'm not saying he's wrong in his view, on the contrary. It's just that me=wordwhore. Anyway, I'm probably just an ignoramus. Not much...
Simple question. Do you think Euthanasia is morally exceptable?
Note: I put this in the politics section, because the subject matter is slightly political in the fact that it remains illegal due to political pressures (from my understanding).
Why do you think I never pursued any type of post-highschool education? (<rhetorical question, don't answer)
Anyway, I got your so-called point quite awhile ago. Yes, a Christian is an atheist AS FAR AS ZEUS IS CONCERNED, etc Simple enough, but if we are going by the concrete defintion, this...
