The advisors are 'boss' creatures that can't just die from bullets (maybe they physicly can but Valve won't just give us the pleasure to kill it this way).
I suppose there will be some sort of a scene where you will need to 'trap' or 'hunt' down the advisor using the objects around you. Maybe...
'martial arts' is not the right word. She's very agile, she can do some very impressive cicks on the zombies, but nothing too fancy as karate. It's very fun watching though.
^ you have a point, maybe we'll never realy know who the G-Man is. And what will happen if we save the world in ep3 and there is no more Combine suppression to fight? I don't think Gordon will go and build a house near the sea, fishing for leeches all day and watch the kids run around...lol
Most of us don't know the truth about the real war, it's what they want us to know. "They are the bad, we're the good, over". It's not that simple. And the slaughter of innocent women and children, it's not something apropriate to compare with the HL world.
War is fun only in computer games...
It's lucky that the same Iraqi insurgents don't have the equipment the coalition has, or the tide will be different.
It sounds stupid to compare things like real human tragedies of war, with a computer game. We're sitting cosy here at home playing HL while these people are duying out there...
The body looks like divided in 3 different parts - the back one, big, holding the legs and the cannon. Middle one - the 'neck', the same one DOG tear the armour off and lethaly wounded the strider. The front one - small and round, where the pulse cannon is placed, possibly the head containing...
This would require alot of time for the headcrab to reach the brain through all the mechanical bioimplants, providing the strider don't try to resist or don't go get fixed. But maybe, if it has the time, it would be possible to infest a strider, if the headcrab is familiar with this type of CNS...
Omg this will make Alyx look very different from what we've been get used to. Maybe sad and crushed, but to a point. Making her bloodthursty ain't gonna be cool.
Plus, i won't give her the pleasure to waste the advizors while this is our job!
Headcrab body is strictly adapted to attach to relatively small round objects that could fit INSIDE it's 'mouth', for example - a human head. The strider body is huge and smooth. Even if the supposed 'brain' (muscle tissue in my opinion) was exposed, it's way too big, and way too unround to fit...
Yeah, 60 Hz is cool *sarcastic*, i know what you mean.
I bought my 19" Flatron a week after ep1 came out and after another playthrough of the episode, i can say the color difference is awesome (my CRT was burned very bad though). The experience is very different, and HDR looks much better, much...
In my opinion totaly impossible. The same logic a headcrab can infest a Hunter, Gunship and a Dropship(carrier), as they seem to to be similar in bio-electronic construction.
Don't take me wrong, the finale was great from emotional and animation level. Still, it looked to me a bit artifical. At the very end, in an UNGUARDED hangar, not even perimeter sentries, with dog SUDDENLY disappear to somewhere a moment earlier. Everything went ideal for the bugs to attack. The...
Let's not compare them with the Iraqi insurgents, Narvi. These people have noting but stolen, mostly russian weapons, suicidial attacks are often, few of them have battle training, and the forces that drives them to violence are very different.
In HL we have a whole community of people...
