As a former Quake2/ActionQuake2 player, I'll tell you.
If you have C bound to crouch, you move your index finger down to C, and keep the middle finger on W. If you need to strafe right, then you move your middle finger to D, and move your ring finger to W.
It takes some getting used to...
Default, if for no other reason that I can jump on someone else's computer and still kick ass without spending 15 minutes fiddling with the controls.
WASD still seems to be the most intuitive for me anyway; most of the keyboard is within reach of the left hand, unlike people who use arrow...
Don't you know? Laidlaw has a fake account on Wikipedia that he uses to post stuff like this, to see how the fans react. Obviously, this one won't make it in to the final game.
I suspect that battles with Advisers in Ep3 will be rather like the battles with Gunships and Striders in HL2. You start out facing up against one at a time and it's like "OMG I DID IT!!", and by 2/3 the way through the episode, you're facing off against 2 or 3 at a time, no sweat. ;)

Now, I'm a little biased against anime, just to warn you, but here goes:
In any anime I've seen, they make it OVER-explicit what every single character is feeling, through exaggerated facial expressions; there's no subtlety. Similarly, many Japanese games I've played bash you over the head...

A while ago someone posted a high-res image of the Combine poster, and a bunch of people (including myself) had issues downloading it at first. I've made a torrent of it; check it out!

Here's a low-res version of what it...
I imagine playing Engie, Medic, Spy or Heavy wouldn't be bad with a controller, but I wouldn't want to play any of the other classes, and I'd still prefer mouse/keyboard.
Outside FPSs, I prefer controllers for racing games, and Mario/Metroid style 2D games (haven't played any 3D Metroid game...
Not possible. It's well-proven that projector bulbs have a lifespan approximating that of a gnat.
In all seriousness, maybe they use LED-based projectors instead of incandescent bulbs?
I mean, they might cost a bunch in theory (not sure if any exist, but here's a link for a really...
