The speedrun done before that one, coming in at about 2:30, involved no flying, and I don't even think it used grav-jumping. Look around for it. I think RandomEngy was the speedrunner. (incidentally, he was a part of the 1:36 speedrun)

Steam will get you all the servers too, this guy's just an Xfire fanboy.

Of course, he says this based on the intro to HL2 and the intro to Ep1, and nothing else. ;)

I have a feeling he's under the impression that TFC == TF1.

As for a new graphics card, they don't have to be that expensive. If you have an AGP slot, this one will play HL2 just fine (albeit with low settings). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130210 Assuming you have an AGP slot, $30 will get you that card.

Well, if it doesn't get a response in a timely manner, then your ping to the server will likely be bad. If you don't get servers on your list, hit "refresh". Check your filter settings, maybe you have it set to filter out any server with ping over 50, or whatever. On days where my connection...

I get it, and it's an interesting observation. :) Maybe Lamarr was teleported back to Kleiner's lab, only he was 20 feet away from you, since he was 20 feet away in the wasteland scene. ;)

Before you make another comment in this forum regarding the content of any game, you should play that game more than 30 minutes. And it might help if you played them in storyline order.

I think playing GMod would be the easiest way. ;) GMod 9 is still available to the public.

If you ever need to reset your config back to stock, the fastest way to do it is to delete your "SteamApps\[email protected]\Team Fortress Classic" directory. Deleting the game only gets rid of the Valve-provided files, so that you can free up space without getting rid of your config files.
