I'd just put this down to Bungie trying to come off cool, but ending up looking a little stupid. The reason (360 upscales amazingly and it keeps frames rates good) seem legit enough, so the attitude is unneeded. As for lying, Bungie are amazing a lying, I've never read so many press...
