I think I've seen that before. I'd try changing resolution, and back again. I get a similar thing now and again with Quake 3, where the game goes really dark (menu and in-game). Again, changing the resolution fixes it :dozey:

You cant run HL2 on just a great graphics card I'm afraid. In fact, I run it extremely well @800x600 with a Radeon 7500 64MB :)

Try updating all your drivers - particularly directX and your graphics

Probably right in most cases! I kinda asssumed you were playin it on Steam jerkasaur. If you have a legit HL1 serial, it is extremely easy to install it on Steam, as Przemek suggested ;)

I think they could be quite hard to fight, if you think about it. They have an extremely deadly weapon, which 'sprays', so will be hard to avoid :eek:
