hm. as you stated, they looked like regular audio-tapes..
cartdriges, do you mean stuff like those glorious qic80-tapes? loved them; a shame that the drives went broken to fast(had around 4 iomega qic120 drives).
yeah, a friend of mine had cpc464. which had an built in datasettes drive. and he used audio-cassettes instead of datasettes. cheaper but sometimes kind of erratic.
oh yeah, carmageddon was bloody(and funny) as ...(insert something very funny and bloody here).
voted 5, as blood isnt the same as blood(same to limbs).
hm, work week. makes sense. but isn't this interesting(like differences in week definition).
@pixartist: "kommende" and "naechste" week isn't the same; it depends completely on your position in the actual week.
perhaps they are allowed to release bloodlines if a defined date(an estimated release-date for hl2) has passed.
btw, hl2 is not one of those games which must be released near x-mas to get most out of the sales.
okay, this is strange:
"ISO 8601 (1973) defines monday as the start of the week, which applies to most of the western countries.
[...]
another bulk of western countries(especially north america) start their week with sunday, which is based on the jewish/islamic tradition(7th day = day of...
do you play as on of the imperial factions or do you play a "barbaric" nation? in the beginning it was fun, war with the greek, somehow the macedonias get annoyed and layed siege on my agaean cities, then those egyptians tried to get their peace of their valium-pie too. conquering those three...
even if you get your hands on a copy of hl2, you wouldnt be able to play it as long it isnt be activated. perhaps one of the first games which wont be released by a "third party retailer" a couple of days before the official release. wait, wasn't it released more then a year before the official...
yeah, dow is great(as i stated above). still a little bit unbalance,, but sill great. got more adrenaline in my veins during a dow online battle then in a doom3-match.
after playing rome the 2nd day i become a little bit bored. had tons of money, fighting wasn't even necessary; bribed each...
i'd prefer to play warhammer40k, dow. havent had this fun in rts since a while, some balancing probs, but still great. tried rome: total war too, but this is to boring for me.
nevertheless, civ3 and gotm's are allways a good try.
yeah, there are some strange statement on the official ati-voucher site so me avoided to register it there completly. perhaps i'll register and send in my stuff after ive played trough hl2 several times, just to be on the safe side :-). perhaps i'm kind'o paranoic.
those rating-criterias suck. they should establish sort of relational gaming currency.
for example:
doom 1=1fps(1 graphics, 1 audio, 1 gameplay,1 story)
dune 1=1rts(...)
leathergodessesfromphobos=1adv(...)
now each game should be rated in their appobiate "genre-currency".
for...
after the release of hl2 the cache files will be decrypted, so burning the ost on your own shouldnt be a (major) problem. or play without sound effects and record "what you hear".:-)
ive got a lot of game-ost's around here, but rarely listened to even one of theme. after hours of gameplay...
sort of. if you register your voucher fast enough, you will get the back-catalogue(minus cs:cz, and which is nothing i would ever allow to waste my hd-space) too, so the things you wont have is dod:s(which will take a very long time to be finished, according to their faq) and hl:s(which isn't...
