Closest Sam Ash to me is about 2 hours away..so I'll just go to GC and Chuck Levins' here in DC.
But I'm looking for other guitar suggestions to try other than a strat. Looking for something great for cleans & jazz.
Thanks :).
Yeah Chuck's is great. I bought my seagull acoustic from there. I was gonna buy my PRS there but they were $150 cheaper at Samash so I went with them.
And yeah, I'm in the DC area :).
So this guy is my primary axe:
Run of the mill PRS SE Custom. I'm a big hard rock/metal player but have acquired a taste for jazz and clean playing recently, so I want to get something with single coil pickups. The PRS sounds good clean but it's a little too metal for some things I've been...
Thanks for the congratulations but I'm not quite finished yet, haha. Graduation isn't until May 21st. And yeah, I've worked for the Army Corps of Engineers...you know...the organization that killed all those people in New Orleans.
And I think I'm just going to take it...who knows, I may even...
Passing the exam is the first step in becoming a professionally licensed engineer (you get to put the PE title after your name).
I should also add I already paid to take this exam in February, haha. Bunch of people pressured me into taking it w/ them even though I knew I wouldn't have time to...
Would you get up at 5:30am to take an 8 hour exam you didnt study for (nor is required for graduation)?
Details:
-Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
-8 hours long
-Not required for my graduation in May.
-Multiple choice
-Can take it as many times as I want.
-Next test date is in October.
What...
That's very true...I've run into that problem. Luckily I've got some internship experience so I'm not completely screwed, but I've definitely been looked over because of my "lack of experience."
They'll wake up eventually I hope. I didn't spend 4 years and get myself $20,000 in debt to not...
