Here's a little more on the new Batman game: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=259435

CoD: Black Ops Launch To Be Activision's Biggest

I'd be surprised if they did this with Black Ops, as I expected them to go this route with a future COD title. And this would contradict Josh Olin, though I also remember what happened last year. Remember when IW's community manager claimed that Multiplayer for Modern Warfare 2 would be the same...

    What comes out this fall?

There were a few games that were canceled for next year, that I was interested in. Crysis 2, Portal 2, and Fable 3 PC were set to be released this fall but they were delayed. I'm hoping that F.E.A.R. 3 isn't delayed either, but if it needs to be delayed then so be it. I want to make sure that...

CoD: Black Ops Launch To Be Activision's Biggest

The exploding RC car was pretty cool, though maybe a bit too 007ish.

CoD: Black Ops Launch To Be Activision's Biggest

Perhaps I'm being a bit too cynical here, but the Multiplayer looks a bit too much like Modern Warfare's multiplayer.

    Hot damn, Metro 2033 DLC...

I've heard many people praising this game, and talked about alot online lately. I'm tempted to give this game a try, but I'm still kinda unsure about this title. Wish there was a demo I could play to give it a try.

CoD: Black Ops Launch To Be Activision's Biggest

About a couple of months before World at War was released, they revealed it for the first time on Gametrailers.

    Batman Arkham City

Huh, and here I thought Batman only went through 3 different robins. That bastard. :E I wonder if it'll be using Games for Windows live or will be making a switch to Steam (like other developers that formerly used GFWL but then switch to setam)?

CoD: Black Ops Launch To Be Activision's Biggest

Oops, my mistake. They are actually going to use a heavily modified version of the engine they used for World at War (which was their own modified version of the Modern Warfare Engine), according to this interview: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2010-call-of/100687?type=flv

Call of Duty 4 engine, best of my knowledge. I'm not sure how much of the engine code has been modified, if it has been modified at all.

CoD: Black Ops Launch To Be Activision's Biggest

Actually, that kinda reminds me of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. All bugs has to do is wave his hands at the audience and he gets applause with such ease. While Daffy does everything he can, dances & doing tricks as best as he can, and instead of clapping he gets crickets. But on a more serious...

CoD: Black Ops Launch To Be Activision's Biggest

Unfortunately I'm too burnt out of the COD series to get exited about this one. Hell, I'm too burnt out on all these modern day shooters.

    Battlefield 3 - CONFIRMED

O.O Uh oh, I made an entirely new thread on this topic. Sorry about that.

Battlefield 3 to be leaving Direct X9 behind.

According to an article by Neoseeker, it looks like Battlefield 3 will be leaving Direct X9 (and Windows XP) behind in favor of focusing more on Direct X11. http://www.neoseeker.com/news/14494-battlefield-3-leaving-dx-9-behind-frostbite-2-engine-good-news-for-pc-gamers/va I'm not surprised...

    Batman Arkham City

I'm not one bit surprised, to be honest. The first one was quite successful and critically acclaimed, backed up by some great voice acting.

Federal Judge overturns Prop 8 in California.

Homosexual civil rights have always been a convenient issue for politicians to dig at when faced with real domestic and foreign issues. Instead of focusing on important issues, they go after Homosexuals. Like it or not, these politicians should understand that Homosexuals are americans, and that...

Ridley Scott talks about Alien Prequel

I myself liked the third one as well. Not as good as the second one (and a little 'rough' around the edges), but I still like it alot. As for the new Alien prequel, I just hope this one has some good writing to it. I think the AvP movies would have been good if they had some good scriptwriting...

    Fable 3

Unfortunately the PC version is going to be delayed, which bummed out some PC people. Microsoft didn't tell why they delayed it, but I am hoping that it's to help optimize it some more for the PC. But some are fearing that it could be a second "Alan Wake", where the PC is delayed without an ETA...

The Fairly Odd Parents (yet another crap fest adpatation)

WHAT?! Why do we need a live adaptation of The Fairly Odd Parents?! I see no reason for it. The beauty of the show is that it's so off the wall, over the top, so goofy that it works quite well without having to resort to forced humor! And it works so well because it's an animated show. A live...

XFire bought out again, team laid off.

Oh man, many are not going to be one bit happy with this news. I don't use XFire, but I know that it is very popular and favorable.
