Imo, it's just a way to say that Source looks dated and is in need of some serious upgrade. Portal 2 has very good graphics, but "very good" is not enough to stay on par with the competition.

The Witcher is actually using a shitty engine. Adapted from Neverwinter Nights 2, IIRC. I have yet to play it on my mid-range rig.

I want a f***ng adventure game. Alien is about story, mystery and exploration. That's what adventure games are for. It cannot be an action game, because when you face the alien, you simply die.
