If any of you had to guess and said the release date is late November or mid-December, then I would agree with you. So, in the meantime, what games would you all suggest buying between now and then to keep us busy?

I want to preorder HL2 at EB because they always get the game first in my area but the guys are being such wankers about the release date I am not sure. Should I just go and do it?

Or will it be an easy download to get all over the net mirrored a million times? I have a feeling the benchmark and gold announcement are the same day and possibly by this weekend. Yes, I am back "yo-yo'ing" my opinion on the release :)

from the last we heard it could actually be happening this week. I am very excited and I know most of you are. I have been waiting for this week's hopeful news for 5 years. What a week it will be.

Did anyone notice how the guys following seem like they are missing some frames when they move fast? It is very chunky or twitchy looking. I hope that gets smoothed out because their animation is not pretty. Anyone notice this?
