I am currently finishing my map, but have stumbled into some problems the fps is crap, lowest 25 -35.. and this is unacceptable.. I have area portaled every room and or enclosed space, ive used some history brushes.. i have the no draw texture on everything you cannot physically see..i dont...

Im having some trouble with creating decals for the extra details of my map..
when i press shift O and click where i want the decal and apply the brush of the decal i want.. it goes all flashy and i cant see it after a while.. is there somethin im doin wrong.

Well after waiting 20 minutes for my compile this happens when cs:s loaded up
*errornum_areaportals* and then in the compile window it said my area portals werent connected which they were.. i followed the tutorials to the cent..

How do you make a breakable grate for a vent, i toyed around with it for a while making a brush and tieing to entity and giving it breakable properties.. but then it doesnt show up in game.. and there is no model for a vent thru entities..
