Anyone else somewhat looking forward to this game? I was ambivalent towards the urban feel of Crysis 2, but the blend of jungle and urban may prove interesting. From what I hear, it's coming out early next year. At the very least, it will be an alright diversion.

The most interesting part is that the Butcher Bay devs are working on an unannounced title for Bethesda.

Hope this is done correctly, if they can create a good politics system and have the right atmosphere, should be a fun game. Glad this is based off the "Masquerade" version, as well.
So, while just a tad belated, I just bought KOTOR off of Steam. But, I'm wondering if the story will keep me interested in the 20+ hours it will take me to complete the game. How does the story/characters hold up to Bioware's recent (or semi-recent) releases? (ME1/2, Dragon Age, Jade Empire, etc).
So, I am looking for a game similiar to Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. By that I mean a modern day-esque RPG with good voice-acting/story/animations. This is probably too much to ask for, considering I haven't found anything even remotely like it since I started playing it.
Anyway...
So, I tried to play Vampire: The Masquerade on Windows XP 64-bit, but I get this message "Unable to init shader system." Any way around this? I played this game before on this machine, and it ran amazingly.
I'm looking to purchase music from a game that doesn't have a soundtrack, nor does it have an easy way for me to obtain the mp3s. The music I'm looking for is from NWN2's expansion Mask of the Betrayer (I want the Mulsantir track). So where's the best place to d/l game music? I've searched...
So, I am currently brainstorming a mod idea for Vampire the Masquerade, and I just want to know if there would be anyone joining such a project. I've been told I'm a very good writer and so i decided to start penning the outline of the story currently. It is inspired by VTM: Bloodlines (but...
Here is an interview with Chris Avellone, which covers Alpha Protocol and video game storytelling in general. I definitely think AP has potential.

So, thus far I've played:
Planescape: Torment
Vampire: The Masquerade
Fallout 1+2
Mass Effect
Jade Empire
All of which had a good story/intriguing character interactions to them. I'm looking for my fix, an RPG with an engrossing story, any suggestions?
Has anyone here played Mask of the Betrayer, the addon for NWN2? I've heard it compared many times to PS: T as far as storytelling quality goes. Is it that good?

Found this enthralling. Apparently a man named William James Sidis wrote The Animate and the Inanimate which was a book that went against the Big Bang theory. About the book.
Also, WJ Sidis had an estimated IQ of 250-300. There are also many sites...

I know this is old news, but I wonder has anyone heard anything else about the WOD MMO? I've looked on other sites but couldn't fnd anything. It'd be great to play an VTM-esque game again.
Didn't see this posted anywhere (did a search), so here's Gamespots e3 preview for Obsidian's new project Alpha Protocol. I think it has potential.
