Check the Steam forums -- they won't accept cheating reports as there is no definitive proof. It's up to server admins to ban people.

That video is dead on. HL2 was a great game, one of the greatest, but that video makes things clear -- HL2 still has flaws.

Honestly, I didn't create this topic for any reason other than hearing why people don't like Steam because I think I might write about it in the not-too-distant future. No hard feelings though :cheers:

Hey. I'm really interested in being able to make minor modifications to HL2, if I can ever get it to compile. So, I need to learn C++... problem is, I have no idea where to start. And even if I did, C++ isn't unified as each compiler does things its own way, and thus anything I learn may be...

Does anyone know a way to control winamp while in hl2? Via console command or some 3rd party program/configuration, perhaps? I want to be able to pause/play/change songs/etc, adjust volume/etc. I tried global hotkeys but it gave me errors, and the only "special" keys on my kb are...

EDIT: I'm not sure if this did game_sdk, game_everything, or just what exactly it processed. However, this is pretty much all I can seem to get it to debug, so I guess whatever small information it has is all we have until Valve or someone else decides to be awesome and document it a lot better...

Don't know if it has been responded to, but to whoever said that antlions gib easily -- I think Germany's laws allow blood from aliens and such if its really minimalistic or something like that. I'm not sure. Still, Germany gets screwed in terms of gaming. I'm sure someone would just remove that...
