I was...holy shit.
17? 27 now. Wait, maybe 18. Or 16. Anyone got any extra fingers I can count on?
I still remember Half Life 2's release day and how hyped the forums were.
Hey all,
So I built a new PC, here's my specs:
Asus Sabertooth Z77
Intel i7 3770k 3.5ghz (OC'd to 4.5ghz @ 1.280v)
2 x EVGA GTX 770 SLI Superclocked (pre-overclocked to about 1110hz).
8GB Corsair Vengeance @1600hz.
Asus Xonar Phoebus Sound Card.
Corsair HX850 Modular PSU.
256GB Samsung 840...
*sigh* I really, really, really, really hate Teamspeak.
I ALWAYS get this ***king problem. I had a set of Steelseries headphones which crapped out on me, and as I was building a new PC I decided to go soundcard+hifi+mic.
It works. It's awesome. My mic works in the Asus software as do my...
Not many.
Elizabeth in Bioshock was different though, she was helpless.
Ellie though gets in there and attacks at times, usually only against humans though.
I got grabbed from behind a few times mid-fight, and Ellie jumped on the guy's back and stabbed him so he released me. She threw a...
There was litearlly only ONE thing that bugged me throughout the game, that kind of pulls you out of the immersion, but at the same time it's understandable why they did it:
When you're sneaking, the AI doesn't react to your allies.
I saw Ellie COUNTLESS times run straight in front of...
They'll show the new box or something.
It's gotten to the point where I've forgotten everything about Half Life now. I swear, even if they surprised the world with HL3 and showed footage, I'd literally just sigh and be "meh".
Still getting the PS4 over the Xbox OneEighty.
The reactions though are hilarious to the change in DRM.
Microsoft announces Xbox One and confirms online requirement and DRM, pissing a load of people off.
Gamers around the world unleash their rage and the flames of console wars burn bright...
Finished it about an hour ago, and delved straight into Survivor difficulty.
Game of the generation, bar none.
The animations and voice acting staggered me the whole playthrough. Everything feels polished, the detail in the world is incredible (they even spend the time to weather the signs...
MGS5 made me cream.
The Division blew me away, totally out of the blue and was really impressive.
Watch Dogs just looks better every time I see it.
And for some reason, I loved Octoman (or whatever his name is).
Agreed with Deathmaster.
Great game, with some seriously tense moments that feel so unique. Something about looking through a gas mask that makes it feel like a unique game too. That constant breathing, fantastic audio as you hear your filter running out and your breathing getting heavier...
Sony pretty much confirms there's no DRM. From back in February, and has been lost under the waves of info since.

Essentially we'll have 3rd party DRM on the PS4, vs Microsoft's always DRM.
If...
Ahhh yes, Mexico.
I always found it kind of depressing to be honest. And I think Morning View Sessions was the first band DVD I ever bought too. I have Alive At Red Rocks lying around somewhere too.
I watched the whole Morning View Sessions the other day, well, had it on in the background...
Personally I've never really seen the need for AA on games these days at 1920x1080. Even if I need it, 2x is enough for me. Any more than that and my fps get sacrificed too much to warrant the very, VERY minor increase in crispness.
