I hope things pick up. I mean, it's still a very watchable show and expecting it to outshine season 4 is a tall-order. But we're almost halfway through and not an awful lot has happened. :(
This is what Dario Casali's (creator of Goldrush, Pipeline, Thunder Mountain, etc) setup looks like and this was taken in from December last year. Now, sure, their tools might be better in-house but I don't think it's all that different from the crappy Hammer available to use right now that is...
Why do BLU have dropdowns right outside their spawn? That'll just be really annoying especially if you take a huge chunk of damage outside spawn yet have no way of returning back to recover health.
You should probably post this up on TF2Maps as you'll be able to get it playtested regularly with...
Yep. Creating brushes in UDK is a pain in the bum. Sure, models are the way to go now but prototyping using brushes is quicker and easier so imagine the usability of Hammer combined with the power of the UDK editor. :O
The Source Engine 2 needs to drop all that Quake bollocks and become a modern engine where you can build things in empty space without having to 'seal' it off from the void, have a proper in-editor content browser for importing and organising content, lightmap support for models, 'if you can't...
The Wire is fantastic. I started watching it in February after hearing so much hype surrounding it over the past few years and whilst I didn't think much of it after the first 2 episodes, eventually I got hooked and ended up watching every season within 2 months. It was money and time well...
I'm really surprised to be honest. Labour have managed to hold quite a few seats and the Lib Dems don't seem to have had any substantial increase in votes since last time. =\ Woke up to find a Tory has taken over Lab in my constituency. Gulp.
I've lost faith in Nvidia since the 9-series as all they seem to be doing is rebranding older cards and coincidentally confusing the **** out of me by making it more difficult to compare their products to each other and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same.
This is my first recording in a rather long time and it's also my first foray into Cubase. It's an acoustic version of 'Blood Theme' which is the music that plays during the end credits of Dexter. It's not perfect but after re-recording so many times it only seemed sensible to give it a rest. :P...
I realised that after. For some reason the 'server' button at the side of the menu only displays history and favourites but not a list of servers to play on. :\ And there is no way in hell that I've played on that many servers.
