if it is a publicity stunt then valve/vivendi are ****ed up. lots of peeps will have preordered brand new systems to hl2 on and some will be canceling them now HL2 is not coming out on the 30th, and with no real idea of the release date it makes it worse.

I was going to buy a brand spanking new monitor and the collectors edition of HL2, but now its been delayed with no release date anounced (I think its gonna come out christmas holidays as theres loads of money to be made this time of the year and valve/vivendi know this) I'm gonna buy myself...

thats what I'm planning on doin... got a 9700pro at the moment and it's not that far behind the 9800pro where fps are concerned... probably upgrade to the latest gcard whatevers out sometime nxt year then keep that for a few yrs then do the same all over again. ;) I hate it when you have to...
