I'm sure plenty of them do. Instead of pouncing the OP with nasty "Norton sucks" remarks, it might be more helpful to redirect him elsewhere or not respond at all.
Wow, none of these replies have been helpful at all. Myself and all other Norton/Symantec users are having this problem. There's a huge thread over on the Steam forums about it.

Not sure if the problem resides with Norton or Steam...
Jesus Christ, I am not talking about an ending to the entire Half-Life story. I'm talking about an actual ending to the story that took place within Half-Life 2. Whether you like it or not, Half-Life 2 has its own storyline, independent from the overall theme of the series, and the ending just...
And just what is be capable of? Vague gibberish and making the screen go black? How boring. I wanted an ending that fit with the rest of the game. Everything else was great, but the finale sucked.
Ravenholm was cool, and it scared the shit out of me at certain points (particularly the areas with poison/fast zombies), but overall it felt like a game within a game. Still liked it, though.
Not really. The G-Man explained a lot more in the first than in the second. In the first one he offered an entirely new concept of the game, and in the sequel he left us with ambiguous dribble.
You're correct in that you can't maintain the story depth of Final Fantasy whilst providing the awesome gameplay of Half-Life 2. But Half-Life 2 tried hard to juggle the ideas of revolution, conformity, betrayal, deception, and others while constricting it to a few sparse scenes of confrontation...
Could that be more one-dimensional?
You guys seem to think that, because we didn't like the ending, that we wanted something else that explained everything. This is entirely not the case. I didn't like the ending because it was dull. It accomplished nothing. Not because it was a cliffhanger...
Put any Final Fantasy storyline next to Half-Life 2's storyline, and you'll see what I mean. The plot wasn't bad; it was just underdeveloped, and scattered throughout segments of the game.
I'm not saying I wanted everything "spoonfed" to me, either, so you elitist assholes can **** off.
