well in episode 1 kleiner goes over the radio telling citizens that something was disabled that didn't allow citizens to have babies or something they emitted didn't allow people to "work" i guess you could say.

is it just me.. or did that seem like a short demo for 1.38 gigs of hard drive space? I mean, I do have a 500 gig hard drive, but that still seems pretty big for only a two level demo... :rolleyes:

I will definatly think about buying it, i was a big fan of the original, i'm still deciding though.

14 hours for the first day of owning oblivion, didn't even advance through the story at all either, just explored.

ok, I still didn't get that working, but on hl2files you can download the Day of Defeat Steam Client, which I'm guessing should work..

but day of defeat doesn't show up on there... :(

I can't seem to figure out how to install the original Half Life mods. Like, for Day of Defeat for example, in the installer it says something like, "...it should show your half life root directory, if not select browse and find it..." and I have selected the half life directory, but the mod...

Thanks for the help guys, I poked around and found the HD pack at steampowered. Certianly a big upgrade on the weapons :P

Well I just recently bought the half life anthology, which includes half life, opposing force, blue shift, and team fortress classic, but in blue shift i know that you are supposed to have updated weapons, like the m4 and stuff like that, but it just has the default weapons from half life, like...
