I'm playing the game, not the music. If the game music is adding to the game experience, it is doing it's job. I think Half-Life's music accomplishes this excellently. I wouldn't necessarily listen to that music by itself, but it fulfills it's purpose.
So, two playthroughs happening now, both experiencing different parts of the game.
Number one is Dark Elf hunter extraordinaire. Sneak/archer, killing animals left and right, collecting pelts. My goal for this character is to kill at least as many dragons in the open world and explore enough...
The machina is probably the noobiest weapon in the game. Yeah, let's reward snipers for getting bodyshots and standing around scoped for 5 hours.
The only weapon I've tried for myself is the widowmaker and it is awesome. If you can get a good chain going where you get lots of hits and deal lots...

So yeah. I'm a highschool trumpet player thinking about a new instrument. Wondering what'd be good for me to check out. I...
Aw man. Pat Metheny. Chillest, most relaxing music I've heard. Whenever I need to just calm myself, Metheny is the way to go. I normally don't give a crap about guitar players but dang.

Does it really bother you people how important your character is or becomes in an rpg? Damn, who would have thought there'd be so many nerds on Halflife2.net?
I like the addition of skill-based perks. They did stuff like that in Oblivion but now it looks like I'll be able to choose from a lot of different things.
Wat. Is this supposed to be a KOTOR game, still? I'm confused, why are there like, clone troopers? And if it's supposed to be Knights of the Old Republic how come it has none of the same aesthetic qualities? It looked kinda cool and I'm sure some people will like the game, but I don't understand...
