Are you sure its not downloading in the background? When I reinstalled Steam and everything on it, it said it had done downloading but was still doing it in the background and while playing would cause stuttering. After that it was fine.
I'm hoping if they go for a completely different look it wont become one of these slowly take over your desktop type apps. Something small and simple that doesn't think its its own operating system would be good.
lol you had me second guessing myself there and I had to check then just to be sure hehe

I coulda sworn I'd seen something, but only caught it briefly and didn't much pay attention to it at the time.
Anyway the picking on the news...
I did get back on topic ^^ :p
Anyways it does look great, definately on my christmas list. But I sure as hell wont be buying an XBox to play it. I'd rather live with lower quality graphics than be stuck unable to get any of the stuff that comes after from the TES community.

Anyhoo you didn't seem to see the difference so I listed a few that I could remember which seems to have sorted things out now. I haven't looked at the MW mods for about a year I think now, I wonder whats out there these days.. I'll put money on someone having tried to make a mod...
Ok gonna say this just for old times sake *grins at Chris_D* ;)
But wasn't this posted by someone called Ben days ago and its only just been put up as news?
*takes away the news teams bread and water*
Do you know the kind of mods out there for MW?
Replacement textures at 3x the resolution for the whole game
a mod that allows you to chop down the tree's, mine rocks, craft just about any item in the game
New armor and weapons
Bank mods, Daggerfall fans loved getting this back
new wildlife...
Those kinds of mods are only popular in the HL style engine, where you can't really do anything but new maps in full.
mods for Morrowind are using the title mods correctly, modifications. It's the lazy FPS area that forgot to use the TC term, I've seen so called top modmakers not even know what...
I did? How? :p I gave some random community mod idea's and also said if the site doesn't make some big changes soon it'll die.. I wouldn't call that injecting hope :)
lol as others have already pointed out to you, you couldn't be more wrong about this.
Mods for morrowind are quite different to those you'd get in HL. As the entire game is entirely changable, right down to the individual stats on an item. You can go into the gameworld, add a castle, save...
Yep pretty sure the nVidia drivers have something similar for setting brightness/contrast/color controls independantly for full screen 3D and desktop stuff.
lol, you really didn't like it did you haha. Damnit just making me want to see it all the more now too! :P
oh and on-topic
Clockwise 9/10 Still great even if its old
Rising Damp the movie 10/10 its so bad its good!
Adam's Rib 9/10 watching it now.
So you'd definately recommend it for those nights in with mates that usually involve 976-evil, killer clowns, night of the creeps, Rhodan vs Mothra vs Godzilla's baby cousin and other instantly forgettable classics while under the influence?
Sounds good to me :)
ahh.. so it WAS like AvP then? :)
I liked the first troopers film, avoided it for ages as it didn't seem the kind I'd go for but caught it one night on tv and ended up liking it. Even if it did have Doogie Hauser in it :p
Wasn't the second one done on a really low budget and went straight to video/forgotton quickly.. I remember hearing some noise about it but then it seemed to vanish overnight and I always got the impression it was kinda on a par with AvP *shudders*
