Renegade is known for stalemates. If you play on a marathon server, one with no time limit, that is bound to happen. I usually avoid marathon servers because of that though.
Renegade was an FPS made by Westwood studios, their first and only foray into FPS games after making many RTS games (classics like Dune 2, Tiberium, Red Alert). Recently it was remade as Renegade X, which is currently free to play in open beta. So, are there any fellow players here on this forum?

Better development tools. XSI is officially supported by valve, but it's discontinued and unsupported by the original company and is incredibly frustrating to use. Effect editing for some things is impossible without third party software that is difficult to find and use. There is no way to edit...
Why aren't people more excited about the GUI editor? I've worked with Source 1 and there never was a way to edit the GUI, you had to use unsupported 3rd party software and it was always extremely frustrating.
