not bad I guess. the Acid Rain video posted a while back was maybe beter though

If you wanna see some uber ninja drumming you need to check out chris adler from lamb of god :)

A bit of a long video but i think its cool someone from a metal band has managed to win what seems quite a major award. Ah and then some heavy metal in front of a big crowd!

meh. So he has a big drumset and is good at diddles. I'm sorry but I really hate the double bass drum I find it cheezy.

If you really want to see a good drummer look at buddy rich.

I agree, my philosphy is "Good drummers don't need double bass drums INLESS they are doing some insane heavy metal for long periods of times"

Huge drumsets are also kind of annoying to play. Its better to just have what you need

Really meh.

Seemed horrifically scripted/robotic. There's no ****ing way in hell anybody could come up with that on the spot. ROBODRUMMAR D:

The "cymbals matching the tone" stuff he's doing just oozes "robo-backbeat-drummachine-drummer" too.

Not to mention, he really didn't do much anything special. He went around his kit a few times, from snare to floor tom (simple shit really), and seemed to whore the **** out of his kick and that cheesy little "snare + floor tom" thing he had going.

Seemed like he was trying to impress by doing allot of simple shit on allot of cymbals and toms.

And he WAY overused the whole "triplet with a kick on the last note in the triplet" thing.

I will say that he has some nice syncopation going on. If he'd strip all this sugar coated bullshit from these two songs, then he'd actually have some nice, clean, crisp, and funky grooves going on.

Great chops too. Bad implementation though.
