Great game. They deseved it. Loosing to Russia, winning over Portugal twice, that team is speciel. :)

Yay Greece! I had them slated as tournament winners; simply because I thought it'd make a nice change :D

To be brutally frank I thought Portugal would win it hands down (despite the result of their first encounter) but was I wrong! Wahey! Bet there's an atmosphere of euphoric suprise in Athens...
 
Portugal get their commupence for fluking their way past England and horribly blatent diving for the rest of the tournament *cough*Deco.

I have to admit that Portugal redeemed themselves with their loss, however. Their coach is probably the embodiment of good sportsmanship in football. Players took it hard though; talk about ambivalence when I saw grown men crying...
 
Man what a dull, boring game.The best part by far was the fan running onto the pitch. That final so should have been Holland v Czech Republic.

Yep, I was supporting Greece all the way in that match. Greece is probably my favourite holiday destination, the people are so friendly and the country is so nice. They deserved to win and I'm happy for them.
