Now I know the chances of anyone on this site bothering to try are low but **** it this is how you change the fonts:
Open
Steam/resources/styles/steam.styles
in notepad and find the line
basefont="arial"

and change arial to any font in your fonts folder. If you want to use the TF2 font I have in the second picture it's in
Steam/steamapps/[USERNAME]/Team Fortress 2/tf/resource/tf2professor.ttf
You should just be able to double-click it and select install (you might need administrative privileges)

and change the line to
basefont="tf2 professor"


Anyone with a custom Steam skin post it too.

Also, speaking of changing Steam, Gabe Newell did a stream last night talking about all manner of things, but one thing that was of note was him talking about mods to steam, how it's currently a failure on their part not to support user-created templates and UI changes to Steam. I believe he said it was a time issue that has kept that from happening.

Further down the file there's lines where you can change font sizes and colours

I haven't tried using them yet but anyone who wants to experiment post some screenshots!

Oh, BTW, if Steam updates its UI it will overwrite your changes.
