The lens flare and the big text ontop is a bit too much. And you signature is too big.
The Antlion (is it?) is to blurry.

Maybe use some other colors them black, grey and white. Perhaps orange? Orange is a color that is associated with Half-Life alot.. And it's a nice color.

I'm at the same time trying not to copy some of my past work or work other people have done. I'm going for originality in most of my wallpapers.

originality is good. and ignore to what some people say that there isnt alot of originality anymore to explore. Belive me.. there is. as long as you have a creative brain, originalty is always possible unfortionatly some people try to use inspiration of previous artwork wich kinda influences your creative thoughts and often you find yourself creating something unoriginal that unfortionatly has been done before. I am also exploring my creative brain and I find alot of never done before concepts and art directions thought up on sleepless nights al alone in my room. and when I think of something it consumes me. I really get into the idea and explore it into my brain. Its really trippn

I really need to open a portfolio and publish alot of concept, art stuff that I have lying around. I think you people will enjoy it

It just shows how people perceive the wallpaper from different perspectives.

EVIL you look at my wallpapers from a "how it was made" perspective.

while commando looks from a "head on" perspective, meaning he sees the wallpaper just as it is, not analysing how it was made.

I respect each perspective and enjoy the comments.

I am constanytly learning stuff and it indeed makes me look from a "How it was made perspective" Even the noobiest photoshopeers sometimes come up with effects that make me thing.. WTF.. how did he do that. I started very early wiht photoshop (14) , I am 19 now and i only spended the first few months with messing around with photshop filters. it wasnt really appealing to me so i searched for something abit cooler and i conceptdesignforum.com and i got into conceptart and photoshop colouring and digital painting and also making websites unfortionatly i have spend to much time making websites wich got me to miss alot of experience in digital painting wich i am currently treying to catch up with. I have a long way to go to be realy really good. (so are you ) so i am now learning as much ass possible. now just look at your green plasma thingy wallpaper (dont know the name ) and i notised some stuff that abviously was done to create the effect. and i use this to learn. its great!

You obviously have more experience than me, I started 1 year ago and now i'm 15.

I'm looking at buying a wacom tablet so I can speed up my work and create more intresting stuff.

What I want to do is to make computer games covers/pamphlets/dvd covers/posters/etc.
