10 minutes of leaked Dead Space beta footage

Honestly, this game looks very very good even in beta. I love some of the creature designs, and the complete lack of a HUD is great for this type of game. Obviously, there are some non-story spoilers:

I liked the slow-mo gun and the flame thrower. It would be cool if there was more environmental stuff you could use to kill monsters.

Bah, disagree completely. Ever since RE4 I've loved the over-the-shoulder view. Renders the classic far-away-cam TPS entirely obsolete, IMO.

Here's where you're making a mistake. Don't expect a lot from hyped games. Too often the hype is completely unfounded.

It thought it would be like hard to find ammo, really dark, few (but strong) enemies, that would've been really cool.. This is pretty much RE4 in space.

The biggest selling point is either going to be that stupid stasis gun or the fact you can blow limbs off and still have creatures come after you..

HUD as in, boxes or bars in the corners of the screen. Dead Space integrates all of this information into the game itself.

Wow funny, people are saying "dis RE4 in space not scary too many enemies" when it clearly says COMBAT footage. Of course it's going to show a bunch of enemies being blown to ****.

Still, it's EA and I wouldn't put much hype into it. Still looks ****ing awesome though.
