HL2 preload would make it a little better if I at all planned to buy through steam... If anything i dislike the whole idea. There are already way to many spoilers out there (ugh even here)

We all know it is going gold in 4 days. But, we will get it in time!
But, they better only offer the preload for HL2 people only. lol.

it is just a pre-load that pre-loads textures/audio and other things that wont be changed in the final version. I mean do you expect to pre-load it then go and look through it all?

Holy cow, does valve think that the best way for useing a release date is to give one and then get their shit out the door a hr before the next day? They are starting to set a trend with this shit. Their is hardly a damn game that comes out now a days that doesnt delay atleast 3-6 months. To make matters worse it looks like they may pull the .... its 11pm EST but its 8pm here in california... so we still released on monday.... They need a freaking person just to help them orginize.
