A long time ago I make a tread like this, but it was not as good as this will be, and it didn't have a poll :P

What do you think is best, 1.00 am or 1.00, 4.00 pm or 16.00 etc.
Of course you say 4 o'clock, when speaking, but this conserns more written type of time. Ladies and Gentlemen, let's start the flaming! :)

24 hour system. It's been abit confusing with AM/PM for me but I've sorta got the hang of it now. Except for this, what do you say for 12 in the night and 12 in the day?

A is for after, but it isn't.
That is how I remember it. :)

AM/PM diffnitely... let's keep the numbers small and math to a minimum please...

12 in the 'night' is the start of a new day and is 12 AM, 12 PM is lunchtime! :burp:

The 24-hour clock system makes more sense, when you need consistency and efficiency. It's always four digits, and it's much simpler.

12 hour clock. I hate having to deduct 12 hours to work out what time it is when its the afternoon :\. I never got the hang of 24 hour clock. I mean I can almost instantly recognise the time when i look at a 24 hour clock but a 12 hour clock seems nice and easy.

I am much more used to the 12-hour system but I would prefer using a 24-hour system.

Yeah...I'm used to the 12 hour system (being american). The 24 hour system makes sense, but whenever I encounter it I always finding myself subtractin 12 to get to the 12 hour system. America SHOULD GO METRIC though! Metric is so much easier than the english system

24h system of course. It's impossible to get confused that way.

psh, in my high school, the science wing was on metric time!

I like the idea of using 24 hour time. Just have to get used to it over the AM/PM times. I am pretty decent at it but not as quick as I would like. Metric is the way to go, in my opinion.

I love 24 Hour system, I CAN'T survive without such a system. :D

24 hour clocks make so much more sense. Just like the metric system.

Good ol' US of A. :hmph:

Takes me a while to figure out what a 24 hour clock means because I'm not used to it, though.

Hey, no one voted for you to stop making polls, Monkey! :P
