Late-night Adult Swim show.

Anybody who watches it? Thoughts and opinions?

IMO best show on TV, Venture Bros. landing second place.

It's the only show like it. There are many other absurdist comedy shows, but Mouse is in a league on its own.

I'm not even sure if it falls under comedy. I mean, it's made me laugh. But for the most part it's just strange and alien. Skirts on the edge of being dark and sinister. Watching it is like taking some kind of mind-altering drug.

Got some good tunes to boot as well.

This show is epic win.

I only ever saw the first episode, as I don't watch TV much anymore, but I laughed my ass off. I love absurdist humor so much.

Same here, only saw the first episode. Funny as hell though.

The best part was definitely his conversations with the shark.

The scenes with Shark are some of the best, especially with Blind Square Guy. Something about the dry, vacant dialogue that occasionally hints at something deeper. There's some kind of plot threading it all together, but I wouldn't have a clue what it is.

'Tis a shame this is the final season. Ends in December. Although I don't know how a show like this would continue any way. Not sure if it's ending because of negative reactions or if that was the plan all along.

I just watched the first ep. on youtube I think...

That sums it up best :P

****ing awesome.

"You know what they say, right? I'm gonna give you one more chance."
"I'm gonna give you one more chance." *shoots shark*
"Bulletproof."
"Ahh. Then I guess I'll take the job. ... ... What IS the job?"

lol I love how the sound effects are 10x higher quality than the animation :P

I saw this once on Adult Swim when I was in Las Vegas, and I was lolling the rest of the night.

the shark stole the show

"do you need some help"

"no no I can do this"

Hahahaha. Wow, this show is amazingly random which, in turn, makes it amazingly funny. Holy shit.

Damn, my friend was always telling me that show sucked, but that show is goddamn hilarious o__o.

"I asked you to pick up a business man, you took him to a movie set and had him star in his first porno, then you blew him up, robbed a bank, made out with a woman, and sang to the police."
"No, that didn't happen."

It is pretty divisive. Half the people who I've heard comment on it say it's the stupidest, laziest, unfunny POS they ever saw.

That was awful, another American animation that thinks it's a lot funnier than it is... like a lot of Adult Swim, apart from Robot Chicken..

Robot Chicken is one of the weakest shows in the comedy line-up.

As far as I can tell, 12 Oz. Mouse isn't even really trying to be funny.

Nearly everything on [adult swim] is bloody awful, painful to watch even. Aqua Teen Hunger Force is barely watchable.

Edit: Actually, "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast" can raise a chuckle now and again, mainly beacuse of George Lowe's voice.

12 Oz Mouse is David Lynch with a paint brush. I love it, and I hope they release it on DVD soon.

And last night's episode rocked

"you're just telling me this now?"
"hehehe...uh huh"

You fail.

Yes, last night's episode was good. Although it raised a hell of a lot more questions now. And the sudden dramatic turn with Skillet was... unexpected. I also expected more resistance from Shark. He was oddly silent.

It's still entirely possible they'll continue the show on Adult Swim Fix. I can live with that.

You fail.

Uh uh...You phail!

Horrible horrible horrible, I'd have more fun shaving my face with a cheese grater. There is nothing to be gained from watching it, even while drunk.

It I want surrealism, I'll go elsewhere thankyou.

On a seperate note, I notice all posters who enjoy it are from North America and the few to denounce it as tosh from the UK. A wide gap in comedic taste methinks...

It's definitely not for everybody. I just find the ridiculous nature of it all to be incredibly amusing. Something you don't really need to think about, or wait for some one-liner or laugh track.

In the case of ozMo, it's entertaining to watch the seemingly disjointed and random plot gradually connect together.
