hehehe, should turn this thread into a 'oldskool meets half-life 2' images

or a "hl2 invades other games" thread that could be fun :)

please wait for it to load, as it loads frame by frame and it is 20 frames. it will run at full speed once it has been shown once.

this was made entirely on MSpaint, using pictures from half life. i took pictures of the background, then got seperate images of a marine shooting/ dying. i drew the crowbar and the interface. Once all 20 frames had been constructed on MSpaint, i used a GIF program to compile it into what you see above.

and thanks to pendragon for hosting this

its ther winning contest entry for week 21

its the german :D he looks so confused, and happy
hes so adorable rendered in the source engine... awwww
well... hes not really ... he's only a quick crop and paste....

:) i just quickly updated it realising the little ammo counter on the lower right hand side in the HUD showed ammo

the story behind my wolfenstein 3d picture in half life, is that he is trying to get through the corridor but he is only programmed in a 2d perspective! so he is desperately trying to move forwards, but is confused with the fact that objects in this engine, have height, width and depth

poor hans.... :(
