1337 Mobo 4 1337 system?

My specs:
9800 pro 128
2 sticks of 512 ddr 2700
Amd athlon barton xp 2800+
ASUS A7V8X-X KT400 USB2.0
Soundblaster 24bit 5.1

I'm thinkin of updating to a dual channel mobo to take advantage of my specs. Also during games and 3dmark03 i could have 80fps for a long time... then all of a sudden it bounces down to 20fps... i wouldnt mind this if it was 30+fps, but 20fps in unacceptable :\ I thought last time i could fix this with adding 512 ram but it didnt work.

So what mobo would you recommend out of those ones? why? is it even worth upgrading? and i dont need an integrated card or sound on it :p

I also get sudden FPS drops like this in CoD and CS. Wtf is up with that? Can anyone tell whats happening and how to fix it?
 
Terminator -- is it like your pc skips a few frames? I had a problem where my pc would go from 60 fps to 55 fps and it would be like a really quick freeze then go back to normal. It happened every 7 seconds exact. Anyway, what kind of mobo do you have? I'm afraid i fixed it by formatting. =(
 
:frown: Those FPS skips are from your Radeon 9800 Pro. I am pretty sure of it, i've had the same problem when I first got my 9800 Pro, i've researched on many other forums that the 9800 Pro is known to have some issues. So, I quickly bought this Zalman cooler, y'know the one with the huge heatsink with heatpipe technology. Miraculously, it fixed the problem... although I still feel retarded now to buying that cooler that costed $40 :hmph: .
