Well I bet my dad $1 that they had huge laptops in the 1970 and even tho he was around then still doesn't think they did.

I cant seem to remember the name but it was like the first portable computer, had a 2.5" CRT and was HUGE!

Holy shit AJ, when I used to work in Maplin Electronics, someone brought one of those in and asked if there was any attachments or cables we could sell for it.

EDIT: How on earth did the Osborne 1 become the much sleeker Grid Compass within the space of a few years?

Here's a portable computer. I wouldn't call it a laptop though. I think in this case portable means "able to be moved without a crane".
