"1984" is on now (UK)

If you have Sky, the film version of 1984 just started a few minutes ago, on Sky Cinema 2 (311). The George Orwell novel (and this film) is often cited as a big influence on HL2, particularly City 17.
 
Darn I'm not in the UK, Oh well...
That movie's on my to-rent list.
 
Hmm, I think I'll see the movie after I've finished the book. :)
 
I didnt see it, but read the book and if its a good interpretation, i'll probably get it on dvd.
 
I've got the DVD. It misses a lot of things from the book, but it's still definately worth watching. I hope society doesn't get like that :(

(saying that though, the way the media is going, we probably will get like that in the not so distant future)
 
Is that the film that has nudity with a woman that appears to have way much pubic hair?

Oh and some old woman as well.

Or am I thinking of something else?
