"1984" is on now (UK)

If you have Sky, the film version of 1984 just started a few minutes ago, on Sky Cinema 2 (311). The George Orwell novel (and this film) is often cited as a big influence on HL2, particularly City 17.

I didnt see it, but read the book and if its a good interpretation, i'll probably get it on dvd.

I've got the DVD. It misses a lot of things from the book, but it's still definately worth watching. I hope society doesn't get like that

(saying that though, the way the media is going, we probably will get like that in the not so distant future)
