2 disturbing moments in the Source_MP_Boomtown.avi

I'm sure you'll all know the one I'm talking about, the 196 meg avi, 6mins 10 secs long, showing multiplayer footage of CS:S with about 10 players in there.

Fast forward to 0:25 secs...
Our host Nurriz (that's how I read that, not entirely clear) kills Irish with an AWP.
Take a good look however, at where he's aiming at the time of firing the round, several inches to the right of the enemy's shoulder. I watched it over and over in slow-motion, he is not aiming at his enemy when he fires.
Either they made the AWP inaccurate (doubtful), or the good old 'I don't care I'm not aiming properly, I'm hitting you anyway'-bug we all know and love/hate is still there.
But you know what, I can accept that I'm not seeing it right here. He does actually move the crosshair over his enemy and away again just as he fires, though I don't hear the AWP firing until he's off-target again.

The next bit however I'm absolutely sure of and is more disturbing:

Fast forward to 2:07 min.
Our friendly host is standing at the CT sniper spot, doesn't quite know where he'd like to go, heads for the double doors, heads back to the spot, heads to CT spawn, heads back to the spot and encounters maets, who manages to kill him.
Rewind that last bit and look at the player name. It appears on-screen BEFORE nurriz has turned the corner and spots the enemy. He turns his view back to head for the double doors, the name flashes across the screen while he's looking at the wall, he turns the corner and BAM, the guy is actually there.
I hope it's a bug already squashed, cause this makes surprise and sneak attacks complete hell :(
 
It was a demo recording playing back, everything is a bit off with the timing

The name appearing through wall when you cant see enemy but crosshair is on them bug still happens :(

The awp thing, if u look more closely, is not as it seems, the guy was acctully shot by another team mate behind him, the first person AWP shot flew off into nowhere.

The text thing seems like a genuine bug though, but thats why the beta is here right? :D

u know, i hate that awp in 1.6 and cz, because u see the bullet go way off, but u still get hit, lame

He constructively pointed out what he thought to be bugs, one of which is a confirmed bug and you call him a moron?

Besides, at this point you look to be a bigger moron than him.

Edit: On topic: I wouldn't bet on the perfect accuracy of any media released. Demo recording has never been and maybe never will be exactly the same during playback as in person.
 
alright, that at least takes care of the AWP miss-fire thing, thank god for that (I've only ever recorded one demo, which was in CS1.6 on a LAN and it wouldn't play back at all).
I'm sure the other one will be taken care of at some point, being a confirmed bug and all that.

I think during the AWP shot the sound and the death animation were a little bit off. That's all.

But yeah I paused it and I saw that when the crosshair was to the right of the CT's arm he was still alive. Weird.
 
played cs:s already the hitboxes are 100% it seems off cuz..tada its a **** VIDEO recorded from a demo.
 
The 2nd bug your referring to, is in the old CS to...it's in every mod as far as I know...weird it's still in...
