2 problems

ok, here it goes... my first problem is i cant change my video settigns in the "advanced" button, like, i can change them but as soon as i hit "apply" or "ok" it loads for a second then gives me this error like "memory could not be read at... blah blah", if i could maybe turn down the settings in a config file or something it would be great. and the second problem i have, isnt as big. when a window gets broken in game it looks like a white grid, and when i look in my console it says

"Error: Material "maps/cs_office/glass/glasswindowbreak070b_-700_-676_-175" uses unknown shader "ShatteredGlass""

anyone know why this is happening and how to fix? any help would be great! ;(

try reinstalling your videocard drivers before anything else

if that doesnt work reinstall source but i think it may be an issue with your card and thats why the settings wont change try benchmarking it with high settings like high res and full antialaising and see how the card responds

i already uninstalled both vid card drivers and source, and i still have the same problem... i will try the benchmark. thanks
