it had some good parts, but the ending just sucked.

Watched it when it came out, but I can't remember much TBH.
Hmmmm, Zemeckis directed Contact? Didn't know that. What about Forrest Gump? Back to the Future?

Contact was pretty ass lets face it.
A real movie would have made her insane all along.
And the alien would have been chthulhu.
If you want to see Contact done correctly watch Solaris; that movie is extremely similar thematically, except all the shitty parts are suddenly not because they play it as horrifying instead of an inspirational poster, plus you get the hot hot alien action sooner and better.
THAT IS THE MAGIC OF THE MOVIE SOLARIS STARRING GEORGE CLOONEY AND NOT THIS BULLSHIT CONTACT; DEAD CARL SAGAN WHAT WERE YOU THINKING.
Solaris starring george clooney: five stars.
